Privacy
DropWatch doesn’t collect, store or share personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your files, folders and rules stay on your Mac.
Book lookups
When a rule reads book details and something is unclear, DropWatch asks Open Library (openlibrary.org, run by the Internet Archive) for it. The request contains the book’s ISBN, or its title and author, or a cleaned-up file name. Nothing else is sent, and you can turn lookups off in the rule.
Typing what you want
Free-text instructions in the Conflicts window are read by Apple’s on-device model. They never leave your Mac.
